「地の塩」「世の光」ってどう言う意味？
塩は味付けとか、防腐剤とか、味を引き出すとかいろいろな用途で使うけど、ポイントは、塩は何かのために使われ、その何かのために役に立つ存在。

光は暗闇を照らすし、温かいし、いろいろなものをはっきりとさせてくれる。

19ですから、どんな小さいおきてでも、破ったり、また人にも破るように教えたりする人は、天国で最も小さい者となります。　しかし、神のおきてを教え、また自分でもそれを実行する人は、天国で偉大な者となります。

20 　よく聞きなさい。　パリサイ人や、ユダヤ人の指導者たちは、神のおきてを守っているのは自分たちだと言いはります。　だが、いいですか。　彼ら以上に正しくなければ、あなたがたは天国には入れません。

ここがすごく面白いと思う。人に破るように教えても天国に入れる。だけど、パリサイ人やユダヤ人の指導者以上に正しくないと天国に入れない、天国ってどういうところか教えてる。

友達や家族を呪ったり腹を立てるだけでも「裁判にかけられる」というのはすごい厳しい気がする。でも、「彼ら以上に正しくなければ、あなたがたは天国には入れません。」というのは、神様の基準が単なる態度や行動じゃなく、心のあり方を見てると言うことなんだと思う。

ここから学んだこと、神様についてわかったことは？

・はじめに世の光、地の塩について話して、次にモーセの律法は正しいということを言って、さらにそれ以上に正しくなければ天国に入れないという。天国がどういうところか、どんな人が入れるのか教えていて、天国について詳しく書かれている。

・ちょっと似てるけど、ここで神様は私たちに「あなたは地の塩、世の光」って宣言している。ここがあなたのアイデンティティーだよって言ってる。その上で「心の中まで正しくないと天国には入れない」という天国の基準とは何かを教えてる。自分が天国に入れるかどうかっていう（基準に達してるかどうか）がつい気になるけど本当に大事なのは、神様が既に「あなたは地の塩、世の光」って宣言していることだと思う。

これから一週間の歩みはどんな風に変わる？

目の前、今ばかり気になるけど天国と言う高く、広い視野で神様を見ていきたい。また、世の光として自分がクリスチャンとして少しでも人の光になれるようにと思う。

Q. What are the meaning of the salt of the earth and the light of the world? 

Salt is used for seasoning, preservative, taking its taste out. a point here is that salt is used for others. The very reason of the existence of salt is for others. 

Light is kinda same. it shines in darkness and bring the shapes and figures. it make something warm and gives energy.

• realizing this truth is very significant that an important thing here is not for us to think or feel that we want to be like the salt and the light but Jesus Christ has already declared "You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world". so it is does not matter if you can feel you are like or unlike the salt and the light. Since Jesus declared, Your identity should be deeply fixed with this truth; you are the salt and the light which influence this world in an amazing way. 

Matthew 5:19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

• it is interesting that even though someone who teaches others to sets aside the commands of the Bible can be entered in the kingdom of heaven.
• but those who can be accepted into the kingdom of heaven need to surpass the righteousness of the Pharisees and the teachers. it tells that God always sees hearts of the man, not how well someone can obey the command on surface. 

Q. How can these discoveries be applied to your life this week? 

Let our eyes focus on the truth that Jesus has already declared for us. we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. let us know who we are before the eyes of our LORD. so that the world around us are going to be changed better.
